Dandy's Journal revisited

First of all, a hopology. We had a broken broadband router for a few days so we didn't have any internet. Still, never mind, here's a jumbo entry to catch up on everything that you missed.

A Terrible Week

Not only are we both miserable because of the strangers coming (I've never seen Flopsy Girl so agitated), but all the other news seems to be bad. my very good friend Thumper-Binx is ill, and I can't get any news about him.

Hello Dandy

Oh I'm sorry I get a little confused, what with Thumper-Binx not showing me how to use the computer, and Tigger is still a little under the weather from his little operation yesterday I don't know if I'm coming or going. (Mister Jingles is still the same .... the bully).

Our 2foot told us this morning that Thumper-Binx is no better or worse. Is that good? Although he's not eating or drinking, but I understand our 2foot is coming home from work lunchtime to help him eat and drink.

We haven't seen Thumper-Binx as he is in the other room. During the day our 2foots mother keeps an eye on Thumpeie, but in the mornings and evenings our 2foot cleans him and makes sure he is comfortable. (I understand he is sleeping next to our 2foots bed). All the fussing he's getting!

It seems Thumper-Binx has a very bad cold. The vets hopes it isn't (warning I think I'm misspelling the word) pasturella.

I will of course keep you posted.

We hope tomorrow goes okay for you and Flopsy Girl.

Bye for now - Loppy, Mister Jingles and Tigger (and Thumper-Binx xx)

The countdown.....

So you know I told you that the strangers are due to come today and rip out the big white thing that does not work anymore? Well could someone please explain to me why, when all these strangers are going to do is make a mess, that one of the 2-foots worked late into the night cleaning their house before the strangers get here?

Anyway.... Me and Flopsy girl are hiding under the table so that the strangers don't see us when they arrive.

We have often thought that ........ must be a 2-foot thing.

Bye for now - Loppy, Mister Jingles and Tigger (and Thumper-Binx xx)

PS - Thumper is about the same today. Although we found it funny when we heard that he spat out his medicine .... at our 2foot .... go Thumpie - go Thumpie!

The countdown
Now now Dandy my young fellow - stop panicking! Once they arrive they will be ohhing and ahhing over you and Flopsy Girl - I know 'cos that's what strangers do in our house :-) Mum or dad usually stay near to us to calm us down and after a little while we become nosy (as bunnies do) and have to have a look.
You will find that when the big white thing is fixed that the 2foots will be happier of an evening and weekend and you and Flopsy Girl will have lots of warmth :-) It's lovely, I discovered the heat from the gas fire and now mum can't get me away from it! I LOVE it :-) So do the rest of the mob but I'm the eldest and so I say that is belongs to me! Don't you agree young man? Anyway, it's good that you get the heat and it really makes your bones melt - ooooh but it's good :-) Mum and dad have said something about having to put the central heating on soon - wonder where that is? I can see long white things in the rooms but I don't know what they are for - anyways, more heat means more snoozes and spoiling for me :-)
Give our regards to Flopsy Girl will you Dandy and of course, our regards to you too :-)

It's alright - as I said in my previous post - don't panic. I would keep an eye on your castle and boxes though in case they decide that they like them! Oh, and watch your toys too - tell the 2foots to move them out of the way in case the clumsy oafs stand on them - we all know what workmen are like!!!
Hope to hear an update later. Tell Flopsy Girl to stay calm.

It was awful
Oct. 17th, 2003 at 1:15 PM

When the strangers were here there was so much noise and disruption you would not believe! I can't explain to you how bad it was, but to give you an idea, you know when we rabbits thump to signal danger? well they were making a noise like that all the time, but louder, and all the time, so I thought that the danger must be terrible.

Anyway, they have gone for now, as they have removed the broken white thing, but they are coming back next week to fit a new white thing to make the 2-foots house warm. I'm dreading it!

Running Riot
Oct. 19th, 2003 at 12:21 AM

It's after midnight, and the 2-foots went to sleep ages ago, but not me & Flopsy Girl! we are just about to start running all over the house to see how much noise we can make!

Any News?

Hi Loppy, Mister Jingles & Tigger. Me and Flopsy Girl were just snatching a little bit of peace after tearing around the house for hours, and hours, and hours, and we were wondering if you had heard how Thumper-Binx was. We miss him.

Hello Dandy and Flopsy Girl. Well, from what we understand he is no better or worse (although he did fall down the stairs today, but we think he is okay from that as I know our 2foot would have told us). We can always hear our 2foot talking to Thumpie, which we don't mind as we know he needs all the attention he can get. We also hear our 2foot using naughty words when Thumpie has spat out his foot, water AND medication.

We will of course let you know his progress.

Bye for now - Loppy, Mister Jingles and Tigger

The pub (again)
Oct. 20th, 2003 at 7:54 AM

Now I freely admit that I do not know everything (although it is true that I know most things),but generally speaking, if there is something that I do not know about (like for example that it's a good idea not to go in the pond unless you want wet feet), then after I've done it once, I learn from my mistakes.....

You may remember a little while ago, I told you that the 2-foots had been to a place called "The Pub", which affected them very badly. Well blow me if the idiots did not go back there yesterday! One came back complaining of sore feet, because it was too far to walk, and the other one fell asleep on the sofa, and woke up with a headache. Idiots!
