There is no pleasing some 2-foots

Arwen and Fizz
As you know, we have two pet 2-foots. One with fur on top of her head, and one with no fur on top of his head. Although at different times they both clean out our condo, it's usually the one with the fur on top of her head that does it. To be honest, it was Flopsy Girl's idea that we started helping her (I think it's a sort of women's solidarity thing), but as I'm so devoted to Flopsy, and usually give in to her every whim, I went along with the idea.
When the 2-foot started cleaning out the condo last night, we did what we have been doing for the last few days. We kept hopping in and out so that we could show her if she had missed a bit, or if there was somewhere that needed special attention. Now you would think that she would be grateful for this wouldn't you? Well I can tell you, there was no gratitute at all forthcoming! All she could do was to complain that it was taking her longer, and that we were getting in the way. I wouldn't care, but it's not as though we made her late or anything, she had it finished just before 1am, and was in bed shortly afterwards. I also happen to know that she did not need to get up this morning until 5:30, so I really don't understand what all of the fuss was about.
I've been talking to Flopsy Girl about it, and I think that the best thing we can do is to try even harder to get involved and help.

Oh hello - I like to help my 2foot to - jump in and out, in and out - but like you she really thinks I am getting in the way ..... me? Tis my house after all.

Hi TiGgEr. Have you managed to find out how Thumper-Binx is getting on?

Hello - well, from what I heard today from mummy 2foot is that she made the bunny soup last night .. gosh! It smelt lovely, I did not have any though. And when she fed Thumpie none of it went on the floor. I think he had some more this morning. ... When do I get some?
Anyhow, good news dear Thumpie is no worse, still a little bunged up and he's not eating/drinking himself ... more soup! But he does not make the noise he used to when breathing.
I am now very confused, is then this good?
Bye-bye - TiGgEr

I think that Thumper-Binx might be a little bit better! As you know, it's very important to eat and poo regularly, otherwise you get all blocked up, so I'm glad he's having some soup, and that he seems to be breathing better.
Let's all keep our paws crossed for him

Hi Dandy bun,
I'm Hawthorn and I regularly read your journal. I was thinking about helping the 2foots clean my room the other day. The best thing to do is stand in front of them and dig the sawdust towards them until they get the hint. Unlike my son Blackberry who just sits in the way all the time. Maybe this will work.
Best wishes for Thumper-binx.

Hi Hawthorn, nice to meet you and the pack.
We don't have sawdust in our condo. It has two floors that are covered in some slippy stuff (Plastic I think it's called), so what we do is to either lay in our litter trays (we have 2, one on each floor), or pull some hay down from our hayrack and lay on that. You can see a picture of our condo at:-
Our 2-foot had it sent all the way from America (wherever that is, I think it must be even further away than the vets!), but we love it.

Thank you, I will give Thumper-Binx your best wishes when I next see him ..... I hope this will be soon.
Bye-bye - TiGgEr

There is no pleasing some 2-foots
Hmmmm, it's a tough one this isn't it? I agree with you and Flopsy Girl that you must try harder each time that the 2foots clean your condo - I know that some of the mob do this and mum and dad can get quite stroppy about it! Well, I mean to say, they are only helping for goodness sakes. That's the way of 2foots you see - for some reason they like to run around all day like a chicken with no head (I've heard mum say that) and then they want to get things done as soon as possible of a night so that they can go to bed and go to sleep! What is the point of running round all day then? They might as well have snoozes like we do during the day and then stay up all night with us and play :-) I think I'll put that to a vote with the hairy mob - I'll get Violet to organise it and let you know what the result was :-)
Regards to Flopsy Girl and have a nice evening.

Hi Mr J & the Hairy Mob
Hi Jingles. I know just what you mean about the 2-foots charging around all day and then not spending quality time with us between midnight & 6am. Still I suppose that they are only dumb creatures and don't understand.
