Dandy's Journal revisited

15 years ago today, Dandy was concerned about the future of a cardboard box...

The great box debate
Dec. 5th, 2003 at 7:32 AM

So the great big cardboard box I was telling you about....... Well, it seems that the 2-foots can't decide what to do with it. The one with no fur on the top of his head wants to keep it for us to play in, but the other one wants to throw it away, she says it's too big, and it will not look nice in the living room! Both me and Flopsy Girl will be SO UPSET if they throw the box away, I mean with a bit of imagination, they could make it into a new castle for us, SO WHY CAN'T THEY SEE THAT. We have decided. If they throw that box away, me and Flopsy Girl are leaving home, and we are NEVER coming back, NOT EVER!!!

The cardboard box
Righto Dandy - we see your predicament here - so, what the best thing to do is: this is according to Violet the wise one - write a note to Santabun with a wishlist of things that you would LOVE for christmas - top of the list (after food of course) is a HUGE CARDBOARD BOX :-) Then you can go on and write some other things like toys, treats etc. Does that sound a good idea?
If this does not work - but is should do - then you and Flopsy Girl will have to bunnap the box! Get into the room with said box and either start to chew it thereby putting your ownership all over it - or get into the box and refuse to come out!
Failing that, pop yourselves into the box, make sure that you have addressed it to Ebony-Eyes and then wait for the postman to collect you :-) We may see you soon, we'll have treats and toast ready for you and Flopsy Girl just in case :-)
Love from Mr Jingles and the rest of the hairy mob - ideas by Violet (ODE) - oldest doe at Ebony-Eyes :-)
