Dandy's Journal revisited

15 years ago today, Dandy was high on life.

Satisfactory all round
May. 17th, 2004 at 7:09 AM

Looking back at the weekend, I think I can say quite honestly that it was most satisfactory. It started well with the piece about me in Rabbiting on, we had lots of sunshine, so we could play out in the garden, the food was good, and we got a new toy. Could it be that the 2-foots have finally started to remember some of the training that the hairy mob gave them?... I hope so. It would be nice if we could expect this standard of attention from now on.

Another good thing that happened was the change to our poo corner. We have an area in the corner of the living room where we have our litter tray, and where we partake of our food. To make life more comfortable, we now have a big piece of fluffy stuff called "profleece" in that corner, so that it is far more cosy and nice to sit there, especially since the 2-foots have turned on the white whirly thing that blows a breeze on us.

I hope after we send our 2foots to the training day that we also manage to get that level of attention, as no new toys over the weekend, and not much time on the allotment as the 2foots were off playing with their blowy brass things.

We also think that our 2-foots definitely need training as although we have some fleece it's not in our poo corner, it's where the rexie buns used to play skids on the carpet and therefore got carpet burns on their paws, but it's really nice to snuggle on when we're allowed out.

What's the white whirly thing? we don't have one of these, although we do have the window open and a lovely breeze coming through that...

white whirly thing
The white whirly thing has something inside it that spins round and blows a breeze. We find that it helps us to keep cool.

Re: white whirly thing
Ah yes, we have some of those as well - they are not on at the moment as the windows are all open.
Do you think that they have a huge whirly thing in the sky that makes all the wind come? We think that sometimes they have it on too high or forget to turn it off!

I know that they have them in the sky, I've seen them. They have big rows of them at the tops of hills.

We are glad to hear that you and Flopsy had a good weekend - how is Flopsy feeling by the way?
Let's hope that the training is starting to get through to them - it could also be the threat that dad made about Mr Jingles doing the training for you 2foot with no fur on his head! Very worrying that!
We have profleece - it's really comfy and it washes well - tee, hee.
Give our regards to Flopsy girl will you please Dandy?

Re: Satisfactory
Flopsy is back to her old self and eating more than her fare share of the morning parsley, but I would not have it any other way!

You are lucky to have Mr. Jingles to keep your 2-foots in check. Do you think he would like to spend a week or two with us to keep our 2-foots in line?
