Dandy's Journal revisited

15 years ago today, Dand was not enjoying the rain...

It's wet.....
Jun. 4th, 2004 at 7:00 AM

Well, what a waste of time yesterday was. It was wet and miserable all day! This does NOT bode well for the weekend. Flopsy Girl & I were planning some serious grass eating on Sunday, but if it's raining, we won't get the chance.

One of the 2-foots (the one with the fur on the top of her head) has not gone to work today. This is a good thing, as she likes to make a fuss of me when she stays at home. Flopsy Girl will have none of it though, she likes to keep away from the 2-foots unless they are carrying food, but the thing is I like to think that I am a responsible pet owner, so I like to keep an eye on them to make sure that they are ok.

We are both getting more and more excited at the prospect of the 2-foot training day, when hundreds of them are going to be descending on the Hairy Mob in Wales (see their journal on http://www.livejournal.com/~thehairymob/ ) This is only 2 weeks away now, so as I keep saying to Flopsy Girl, just think, after they have had their training, life will be simply perfect!

Well, it's sunny today but very breezy too - we hope that you get some nice weather so that you can go out into the garden and do some serious grass munching.
We are also glad to hear that your 2foot with fur on her head is staying in with you today - lots of fusses is good :-)
About the training day - it looks like only 2 2foots are coming as we have only received one certificate to say that they are allowed. Nobun else has sent any permission for their 2foots to come so it looks like it will be your 2foots and US! :-)

2foot training day
We have given our permission for our 2foots to go. However, we thought we would send permission with them. Do you want it before as we are sure we can send something?

Re: 2foot training day
Well, as long as you have something that says that the 2foots can attend the training day that will be fine - the 2foots will have to show us as soon as they arrive 'cos anyone who hasn't got permission will have to be booted out! No permission from their 2foots means that they have just upped and left and not said a word - this can't be allowed to happen of course so this is why we need permission that pets can attend :-)
We are going to write a mail to UKPR and tell them to get a move on as well - these 2foots will try to get away with anything and will think that they can just turn up and have a good day nattering to the other 2foots! We are starting as we mean to go on - permission is needed and we have to see it - it's only fair on everybun that really wants their 2foots to be trained properly.

Re: 2foot training day
We have a letter to go in the snail mail. Should hopefully reach you by the end of next week but the snail mail in York is rather bad. Maybe you could send violet up to mash them!
