Crashes in the sky

I'm not going into the garden today, it's far too dangerous. During the night, something REALLY bad happened, the stars started crashing into each other. It was the loudest noise I have EVER heard, and there were big flashes of light too. Now obviously, the stars are a long way up, so the debris is going to take a long time to fall down (which is why we didn't see any during the night), but I reckon it should start to hit us any time now, so please be warned, if you go outside today you are in danger of being nutted by pieces of broken star.

Oh golly, not good. Thankfully we are staying in with our whirly thingie today. It's a good job you have that hair conditioner to keep you cool today if not going outside.

We never heard anything like that - do you think it was just by your house then?
As for going out in the garden, then if you don't think it's safe don't go out! We have been out in our garden and we have looked at the sky lots and nothing is there - well the sun is but nothing else.
Maybe it was just near to your house and that is why it sounded so loud? Always err on the side of caution and send out your 2foot (the one with no fur on his head) to have a look see before you go out - with his bald head any debris should be reflected in it as well :-)

Re: Crashing stars?
Well as it happens I've not seen any debris either. Maybe we are just lucky and it has missed all of us. There are some trees near us though, and I think that it might have fallen into them.
