Dandy's Journal revisited

15 years ago today, Dandy was doing some home improvements

The Cardboard house
Jul. 6th, 2004 at 7:07 AM

Good morning everybun.

As I told you in my journal yesterday morning, the 2-foots brought us a new cardboard house back from the bunny camp open day on Sunday. Now don't get me wrong, we are not ungrateful, it's just that we had got the old one adapted to our needs, and there were several features that this new one just did not have! Well, we started early yesterday morning, and we adapted one of the upstairs windows to make it bigger to give us a better view, and we removed one corner from downstairs to improve ventilation. We will probably adapt the tunnel next.

You would think that the 2-foots would have been pleased that we had shown such an interest, but NO! One of them (The one with the fur on the top of her head) did nothing but complain that we had already started working on it, and that it was starting to look like the old one after only a day. WELL OF COURSE IT IS STUPID! THAT'S HOW WE LIKE IT!!!

Why are 2-foots so thick?

Thick and stupid! Dandy we have just updated our journal and we have made an entry about our 2foots and celebrating. Do you know what Mar Ried is? They are celebrating it as they did it two years ago.

Ma Reed
I had to ask Flopsy Girl about this one. Apparently, Ma Reed is a 2-foot that travels about helping 2-foots with their bonding. When Ma Reed is satisfied that they are properly bonded, she gives them a certificate. They are also ringed so that other 2-foots can tell that they are bonded.

As with all other 2-foot activities, they are masters at over-complicating what should be a very simple process. When we want to bond, we just get on with it, we don't need Ma Reed coming round to show us what to do!

They really do have strange customs and habits! But it does make them interesting pets!

Silly 2foots! Mine are always rearranging my cage. The one I call Mom finally gave up putting my food dish in the far corner 'cause I'd always move it to the center of my room. At least they seem to be capable of learning after a while! I'll train them yet!
