Dandy's Journal revisited

15 years ago today, Dandy was celebrating his accomplishments.

A new corner
Aug. 26th, 2004 at 9:26 AM

Although we are free range buns, and have the run of the whole house, there are one or two small corners that the 2-foots try to keep us away from. There is one in particular where you can get right round the back of the sofa, and chew electric wires to your hearts content. The 2-foots ALWAYS block off this corner, but last night we both worked REALLY hard on the obstructions, AND WE GOT THROUGH! Of course the 2-foots had to go and spoil it by closing the gap again, but now we know we can do it.....

Well, I have always been perfectly fine chewing through cables and things. It's those silly 2 foots that got eel-heck-trick shocks when they touched the items I had been modifying!

My best effort though was chewing through the rubber on the dishwasher hose - on the top floor, so flooding the 2 floors below! Well, the 2 foots went out all night and left me, and that had never happened before so i was feeling a bit bored and lonely . . . mind you, I did get the cold shoulder from my 2 foots for the whole of that day, but at least they didn't shout at me.

That DOES sound like a fun thing to do.... Pity our 2-foots don't have a dish washer

Re: dishwasher hose
The funny thing was that apparently the Inn-shore-ants didn't cover them for damage caused by household pets or rodents - and the 2 foots said since I was both they'd 'had it'! I thought not being covered meant they didn't have it, as in didn't have cover!
It cost lots of money to have the damage repaired but the 2 foots didn't mind, like they say on the ads, "because I'm worth it"!
