Dandy's Journal revisited

15 years ago today, Dandy was apologising...

Sep. 1st, 2004 at 10:25 AM

First of all, I just wanted to say how sorry I am for not posting yesterday. I know how you all hang on my every word, and it must have been miserable for you yesterday when you had nothing to read.

The reason I did not get around to writing yesterday was that both me and Flopsy Girl were SO BUSY! We spent all morning stripping wallpaper, and then in the afternoon, we went out into the garden, and stayed out until after the sun had gone down. The reason we got to stay out for so long was that our pet 2-foot (the one with no fur on the top of his head) started reading a book, and he decided that he was not going to back into the house until he had finished it. Now as you know, it's not safe to leave a 2-foot out in the garden unsupervised, so we HAD to stay out with him.

I must say, we REALLY enjoyed all the grass and the weeds, but that did not stop us tucking into a HUGE pile of greens when we got in, and lots & lots of my own personal favourite, toast made from Warburtons seeded batch.
Current Mood: busy

Hmm. I always thought books were snacks that 2foots leave around for me as treats! Your 2foots READ them??? But they're really tasty! If you get a chance, take a quick nibble! Do your 2foots read Cabbages, too? Maybe the curls on the leaves are some strange language...

Re: reading?
We do eat books whenever we can, it is the best way to digest the facts in them.

Re: reading?
My 2foots need to digest more facts, especially about us buns!

MMM...books are our favorites too. Mom reads them constantly...so it's good because she leaves the all around the house when she done. We can only imagine it's as a treat for us.
