Dandy's Journal revisited

15 years ago today was a very auspicious day. Dandy formed "The Bunny-Mint"

Sep. 13th, 2004 at 10:21 AM

Me and Flopsy Girl have come to an important decision. We were watching the light up box yesterday, and there was something on about a place called Parly-mint. Now the name is confusing, as there is no mint there at all (at least not that we could see), no, the purpose of Parly-mint is to make the rules that the 2-foots have to follow. Now they obviously make a really bad job of this, as we listened and watched for over an hour, and rabbits were not even mentioned once, so we have decided that we will start our own Parly-mint, but to avoid confusion, we have decided to call ours Bunny-mint. The boss of Bunny-mint is the pry minister. He is called this as it is his job to pry into everybuns business, so obviously, that will be my job. Another important job, is Chance seller. This job is to help others to have a better chance of getting on with things, so as she has always been good with advice, Flopsy Girl has agreed to take on this important role.

Now obviously, we will have to have our Bunny-mint as an online affair, as we never all seem to be able to get together, but there are several other important jobs up for grabs if anybun wishes to apply, they are as follows:-
Home secretary (to take down all the notes)
Foreign secretary (to take down any notes that are in a foreign language)
Minister for health (to let everybun know that Auntie Francis is the best bunny vet in the world)
Minister for transport (to make sure that everybun always has a 2-foot to take them wherever they need to go)

Flopsy Girl & I will consider applications from anybun who thinks that they have the relevant experience, plus, we would be happy to hear from you if you think that there are any other important jobs that you think you could do.

We would like to join, please – now there are seven of us and we don’t mind which positions you wish for us to fill, although what is a foreign language?

Re: Bunny-Mint
A foreign language is a language that buns from far away speak. If you were to talk to a bun from London for example, you would find it difficult to understand some of the things they say. I'll give you a couple of examples. Instead of saying "carrots" they say "budgies & parrots". Or instead of saying "Hay", they say "Month of May". So we need somebun who can translate this kind of thing for us.

Jobs in the bunny-mint
Hi Dandy,

We think we should be Minister for agriculture - that is the bun who makes sure everybun gets enough greens - as we have our own allotment that the 2foots tend and plant stuff that grows and not the big Tesco or Sainsbury allotments where stuff grows in plastic bags.

Hawthorn et al.

p.s. when does bunny camp news come out?

Re: Jobs in the bunny-mint
That sounds very good to me Hawthorn. You are now Minister for Agriculture. With any luck, you should see Bunny Camp News by the end of the week

Re: Foreign Sec
The job is yours Yoda. You obviously have wonderful taste as you were so quick to spot what a handsome bun I am.

But not as nice as lovely handsome Oscar

Re: Foreign Sec
...and you have no chance of a job, as your judgement cannot be trusted.

Re: Foreign Sec
But then again I don't want a position in Bunny-mint. I will be forming the shadow Bunny-mint which is supposed to oppose any decisions the Bunny-mint makes unless they are good like getting me more greens.

Once again you prove that you are not fit for a position in the bunny-mint. If you had been reasonable, you could have joined, and set up a committee with the rest of the pack, and you could have worked together to get more greens.

Bunny-mint, Parsley-Mint - it's all very important stuff!

apply a job at Bunny-mint
Can a spirit bun apply a job? A retire bun can really contribute his experience, especially my expertise on Bunny Homeland Security against the terror of Meow and Woof. If 2 foots are useless in this issue. I am your bun. I successfully protect my Lady and Bunka from the territory invasion of Meow and Woof.

Re: What about us???
These are excellent skills that should be passed on to as many buns as possible. I think Poppy should be minister of education
