Arwen and Fizz

New Heavy-Dense

Agent 0014 reporting in with new heavy-dense of how the buns were mistreated at the rabbit show last weekend. I must admit when I looked at these pictures (which were passed to me by 0011 Loopy), they brought back some very unpleasant memories. So if you have never seen a rabbit show my friends, this is what it's like...

The buns are kept for 3 days in banks of tiny cages

Some of the buns just don't cope at all well with this. They go crazy and franticly try to get out of their cages going back and forth looking for any means of escape.

When the buns do get out, they are roughly handled, there are no 2-foots to give them any kind or reassuring words, they are just poked, prodded, and messed about with. They are TERRIFIED!

In fact all the 2-foots that go to these shows are interested in is winning these

Our 2-foot (the one with no fur on the top of his head) talked to Gwen from Bunny Burrows about what he had seen, but I don't know if it helped

I feel sad now 'cos all I could think about at the time was our nice new red food bowl that our 2-foot brought, but Millie said that I was like that just because I was so relieved that I don't have to be a part of the rabbit shows anymore.

One thing I do know though. It's not often I pay our 2-foots a complement, but just as long as there are 2-foots like Baldy, still finding time to think about Loopy and remembering to buy her a present despite all the things he had just seen.

and as long as our 2-foots care enough to keep us safe and warm, and well fed

Then there is hope that one day rabbit shows will be a thing of the past, and we will be able to sleep safe and warm in our burrows knowing that we and everybun else has a caring loving home, but until that day comes, I remain Cedric Rex Agent 0014 at your service, and at the service of the whole of Lagamorphia.
