Dandy's Journal revisited

Another double entry day for Dandy 15 years ago today.

Bed time? What's bed time!
Dec. 29th, 2003 at 8:47 AM

Whooaa We are doing GREAT! The 2-foots are hardly ever making us go to bed! we were out again all of last night, and we are still out now. We really like the big cardboard box that one of the 2-foots has made into a castle for us. It's much bigger than our old castle, and there is more room to get up and down between the levels. I think that it's an important lesson for 2-foots in general to learn. They do not need to spend large amounts of money on toys for us, all they have to do, is to buy hugely expensive stuff for themselves, and chances are that it will come in a massive box that is FAR more useful!

What a good idea. The only big box we have seen is the decoration box, perhaps if we hijack the box when they next get it down from the whole in the roof, they may let us play with it.

Boxes
That's the spirit! You have to make them realise that ANY box they bring into the house is rightfully yours!

Boxes
Oh that is sooo great that you are hardly going to bed now :-) We think your idea about the 2foots buying expensive things that come in big boxes is a brilliant idea! We will have to get our mum and dad to buy some new stuff for the house and we can have the boxes. A new television comes to mind - maybe a new music thingy - another computer - the list is endless :-) Now, where did mum put her credit card :-)

Cardboard Boxes
Hi Dandy,

Sorry not to have left any messages over christmas but we had sooo much to do and play with and lots and lots and lots of greens and treats that we completely forgot about the outside world.

Anyway ew think that we might be getting a big box as soon as we've finished all the yummy hay in it. Its one of the maxi boxes from West Wales Willlows.

Bramble etc.

Oh our journal will be restarting tomorrow

I thought things were going too well!

Just as everything was going great, one of the 2-foots dragged me out of the cardboard playhouse (where I was in the middle of a really good nap), stuffed me into a carrier, and took me to see Auntie Francis (the best bunny vet in the world) for my myxi jab! I mean, I know I need my myxi jab, but why doesn't Auntie Francis come here to do it? I mean, it's not as if were just anybun, I'm Dandy for heaven's sake!

Needles
Our vet Sally Evans (a really good vet and learning well)- she comes to our house to do the myxi and the VHD needles - she came on the 19th December for our VHD needles :-( It is better that she comes to the house as imagine trying to get 30 bunnies in the car???? When she came last time she brought another vet Steve with her - Tilly-Mint and Rosebud fluttered their eyelashes at them! Women - who'd have 'em?

On the 2nd January what a Happy New Year poor Honeybunny and TiGgEr will have ... NOT. TiGgEr is having his myxi jab and Honeybunny her VHD jab. Mister Jingles and I both had our jabs before Christmas, thankgoodness.

Take care - Loppy, TiGgEr, Mister Jingles and Honeybunny
