Dandy's Journal revisited

15 years ago today, Dandy was worried about service levels.

More worries

I'm a bit concerned about tonight. It sounds as if one of the 2-foots (the one with no fur on the top of his head) will not be home until REALLY late. That means that the other one will have to look after us all on her own. This is bad news. I don't think we have the proportions quite right as it is, I mean I reckon that to give us ALL of the attention we need, there should be at least two 2-foots to each bun. That way, there will always be a 2-foot to look after us while the others sleep, or go to the allotment.

Don't get me wrong, I mean our 2-foots try their best, but there are only two of them, so they cannot possibly cope with all the needs of two of us, however, I think that it's downright stupid, and bordering on the cruel to expect us to cope when there is only one here to fulfill our every wish.

We are considering looking to see if there is a 2-foot sanctuary close by, that way we could perhaps consider adopting another 2-foot, or perhaps a bonded pair to help look after us. What do you think?

SANCTUARY
We really love your way of thinking. Although we do have two 2foots, we only have one who takes care of our bedroom and hutches. Golly, can you imagine, there's five of us, so we should have ten 2foots ..... oh gosh! the fusses. Please let us know if you do find a 2-foot sanctuary.

Re: SANCTUARY
Of course with ten 2-foots, you may have to have some kind of cage outside to keep them in.....

Re: SANCTUARY
If we had 34 2foots we need to have multiple outside cages... But then again the English buns and Nettle aren't that keen on 2foots. They get a bit edgy... Although our 2foots are very good with us. We think it might be from before they came to us. So that would make it only 26 2foots to look after us. Therefore we think the 2foots need to get a bigger house or at least a bigger garden... Or maybe we could keep them down at the allotments.

Re: SANCTUARY
I think that keeping them down at the allotments is a good idea. That way, they would always be bringing back food with them.

It makes sense!
Dandy you are totally right!
Our neighbours next door, who are actually our mummy, our daddy and our auntie. Well, they have 2 2-foots each. There are 6 2-foots all together living in the same condo. Mind it's a big condo!
We are off to the Sanctuary too, we've only got 2 2-foots too. We need another 2 at least!
Mind, does another 4-foots would make up for 2 lacking 2-foots?
Because we have a Meow and he is a good protector to us...

Worries and Sanctuary
Tut, tut, these 2foots of yours are getting a little out of paw Dandy -something has to be done about this - will get Violet onto the case!
We like the idea of 2 2foots each - can we find enough for 29 bunnies though? The best idea is keeping them in the allotments - that sounds wonderful :-) They could all take it in turns to be at the allotments and we would have lovely fresh food all the time :-)
