Dandy's Journal revisited

15 years ago today, Dandy was feeling a bit let down...

Jun. 26th, 2004 at 6:59 PM

Well I thought I was very eloquent yesterday. I made a heartfelt appeal for new friends to say hello, so I sat back and waited... and waited... and waited... I waited so long, I am actually updating my journal 12 hours late! HOW MANY DID I GET? 0, none, nil, zilch, zero (are you getting the picture) I'm DISGUSTED, DISTRAUGHT, I FEEL LET DOWN UNWANTED. nobody loves me.......................
Current Mood: sick

We all love you Dandy - you know that we do, even if Oscar does say that he is better looking than you. You and Flopsy are our best friends and that is a great honour indeed.
We know we are not updating our diary recently but we promise we will soon - maybe a bit later eh? We want to tell you all about the training day and the state of the 2foots :-)

Re: Humph!
Well thank you, I knew I could rely on you... but what about everybun else who reads my journal but never leave a comment?

Re: Humph!
They don't leave them in our journal either - but then maybe no-one else reads it :-( That would be a very sad state of affairs as we are the Famous Hairy Mob and we like to share ourselves around. Oh well, maybe sometime soon eh? Wonder when the other buns are going to get around to updating their journals?

To the unloved
Hello Dandy,

So sorry not to comment before now but our girl just won't get off the computer. We're in Ohio which I understand is all the way across the BIG pond.

I've decided that Melster can't be the only spirit bun represented so I've taken to the keyboard.

I'm also quite disgusted to tell you that my love Cita and her nemesis Monkey along with our daft 2-foot girl think you're handsome beyond words. No worries though as the bunny girls also think you're probably to opinionated to live with.

Also Flopsy Girl is quite lovely even if she can't hold a candle to my Cita, for me at least.

Re: To the unloved
Hello Newby, and thank you very much for writing. I've actually heard of Ohio, as my 2-foot (the one with no fur on the top of his head) pays what HE calls music all the time, and I've heard Ohio mentioned. If Ohio is at the other side of the big pond, are you anywhere near Lawn Guyland where my friend Merridoe lives? As for being opinionated, I don't think I am. It's just that I am the most Handsome talented, and modest bun you will ever meet!

I'm delighted not to be alone anymore Cita!!! : )

Dandy, I feel certain you are just asking your readers to write comments in the hope of more praise for your ever swelling head!

Swelling Head?

I'm not surprised at your jealous outburst, but I'm saddened by it. All I want to do is to hold out the paw of friendship so that everybun out there can benefit from reading the journal of the most talented, handsome, and modest bun in the world. Now I consider that to be a noble gesture!

Oh sorry, I should say Newby not Cita! How long have you been a spirit bun Newby? And what is all this about a monkey?!

Newby, Cita, and Monkey Oh My
Since Dandy has put out the welcome mat I'll tell you more about us.

Cita (Dulcita to all peons)is a beautiful chinchilla coat dwarf girl. She is seven years old and the ruler of her territory. At just eight weeks old she daringly escaped confinement in the pet store and wrapped her 2 foot girl around her paw.

After four years ruling alone Cita decided that she needed a boy toy. Enter me Newby handsome, fluffy, easy going, with lop ears. I ask you what more could any girl want? It certainly didn't hurt that I was rescued from the forest and was therefore a bun of mystery. Cita and I had two great years together before STASIS came. My 2 foot stayed up for days nursing me and taking me to the vet, Cita cuddled me to keep my spirits up, but in the end I was just to weary and had to become a spirit bun. Let me tell you Cita was livid. She gave me a good bite when she realized I was leaving. It has been almost a year and she's only just started to relax, sprawl out, and cuddle with me again.

Now our 2-foot being a daft girl thinks that the best way to remember me is to take in another rescue bun. That's how we ended up with Monkey. Monkey came from a shelter claiming to be a neutered boy happy to play boy toy for Cita. A month later our 2-foot flips her over and finds out what I knew all along. Monkey's a girl. Worse yet she wants to be top bun. That's what happens when you let a to foot make important decisions so ever bun be warned.

Whew I'm all typed out.

Re: Newby, Cita, and Monkey Oh My
Gosh, so I take it Cita and Monkey are not friends! (A bit like me and Dandy by the looks of it!)

Well, since you were "saddened by my jealous outburst . . . ."

Re: Newby, Cita, and Monkey Oh My
Listen, you may be hopeless, self opinionated, and generally useless, but that doesn't mean that we are not friends does it?

Well I suppose if I can put up with your vanity, delusions of grandeur and narcissism . . . then yes, I guess we are friends!

Hi, Newby! I'm across the Big Pond, too, though I think Lawn Guyland New York is a long hop from Ohio! Welcome and hope to see you around the virtual fields!
