The Carrot Project

I just thought that I'd update you on the carrot project. We have abundoned the carrot tops as they only grew about an inch and then went mouldy, the seeds though are coming on very nicely!

I don't know about you but I think they are looking VERY promising!!!

I'm so shamed .. you bunnies are growing better carrots than I am ... congratulations. And such will power to not just eat them now!

what a nice crop! are you going to thin them out? you should conduct a quality-control taste test just to be on the safe side......

I'm going to let them grow a little bit more and THEN thin them out!

Yum yum, we will post an update about our carrot tops very soon. We want to know if we can eat them yet!

I am impressed. The allotments are fludded at the moment so I can't report on how ours are progressing.

They looked so tasty that I tried to have a nibble right through the pooter screen!!

My 2-foot grows parsley which jazz loves, but I don't fancy it...we kinda missed out on the carrot growing project, cos the stoopid 2-foots were away, but perhaps we should start now....

Of course you can! We are growing a variety called Parmex that can be planted between February & July.
