Is it wet where you are?

I've heard rumours that there is a bit of damp about. It's been a lovely afternoon here, the sun has been shining and everything is dry. Furhaps if it's wet where you are it's because you didn't pay your council tax?

Been pouring here and I've checked that Mum definitely paid the council tax.

Mum says we may not get any veg off the allotment this year unless the rain stops, as she's thinking of turning it into a paddy field and growing rice instead!

Ah yes, that great Irish singer Paddy Field (cousin of Gracie)

I can see lots of wet water from my windowsill and mum has paid her £2k council tax (which she strongly resents).

Ah well our council tax is more than that which is probably why you are wet and we are not.

I'm about 10 miles from the lakes of Zummerset.

I have a paddling pool fur a patio everytime it rains which is most of the time.

Keep expecting Delilah the goldfish to swim up to the back door.

Listen you Ameribuns. Stop sending your jet stream our way.

It might be wet and stormy here tomorrow evening, but most days are cloudy/sunny, which is good because when it's all sunny it can be too hot for me!

I did see in tonights paper that the Thames had overflowed its' banks, flooding some villages. Hope there's no floods near you.

No floods near us, we paid our council tax.

You sound like my brother-in-law; he always says they get no rain in their area of FL because they don't pay enough taxes.

What has the jet stream and global warming got to do with the Council Tax?
Feb. 12th, 2014 07:27 pm (UTC)
If you pay your council tax then the council re-directs the jet stream (that's what you pay it for) as fur global warming, just put your globe in the fridge to cool down.

But the fridge is full of carbon dioxide

Then take the carbon dioxide out and put your globe in!... Sheeesh, do I need to tell this bun everything?
